I just hate the fumble fumble of getting out of a car and trying to deploy the umbrella, or getting into a car and stowing one.
Besides, Neville Chamberlain killed umbrellas for me, and John Steed, try as he might, hasn't quite rehabilitated them. lol
When I tried the conformer on in the mirror, all I could think of was "Eloi, Eloi, Lama sabachthani." ;)
I'll fine-tune it a bit, and send it back on Monday. Then the fun begins!
I've been thinking about an Art hat for a long time, but never could decide exactly what I wanted. After...
I suppose all of these sox are "One size fits all" where "all" means "Everybody but me." My calves are full-grown Brahmas, and I always end up with a big ol' groove in them where the top of the sock was.
Yeah, who needs illegal substances when the sound of a Merlin can bring such euphoria?
I could be talking to the prettiest lady in the world, and if I heard that sound overhead she'd wonder what happened to me. lol
I used to have those Famous First Editions, but I remember them being quite a bit larger than the real comics, no doubt to deter some no-account from trying to pass them off as originals.
I find the grey hair makes my 3 piece suit and Homburg hat look more appropriate. :D
Now about those aches and pains, if they're this bad at 46, what will 76 feel like?
This is embarrassing for a 46-year-old to admit, but I've never been outside the USA.
States:
California
Hawaii
Oregon
Washington
Nevada
Arizona
Utah
And I only visited Washington once, for EXPO '74 in Spokane.
I'm a klutz, but I think I can keep my ears on. lol
Reading this thread has led me to the conclusion that I want Art to design the whole thing. I don't even want him to tell me anything about it, just send it when it's done. It'll be like Christmas and I know I'll like it.
