Just as a matter of interest and whilst on the subject of Bates hatters, I have a WW2 RAF officer's forage cap made by them....very good quality with printed, what looks like silk lining with their logo/name on it so looks like they turned their hand to hats of all natures as and when the time...
Frequented the Eagle a number of times when visiting Cambridge mainly when I am down for an airshow at Duxford.
The last time was the September airshow last year (2009), I was with the wife and my 5 month old daughter (at the time) who really enjoyed the airshow which I was really surprised by...

I currently have an M41 from a UK supplier as it was much cheaper to buy from the UK than the US.

Not a bad jacket at all for the price and it's pretty warm considering the cold weather the UK is currently...
I love them both, if could wear them both at the sametime I would ;) , I have a 1968 Martin Lane G1 and an ELC G1 repro and the fit is similar with room around the shoulders and chest area but tapered towards the waist.
I find my A2's overall a more comfortable fit, however these are all repros...
