I bought this on DVD from reviews only and that the fact the I really rate Clive Owen as an actor, well after watching I was really disappointed nowhere near as good as I thought it would be....in a word "Crap" :(
I have to agree, I wouldn't say the fleece is any longer in pile length than my ELC just more of it making it more bulky as this goes the same for the entire jacket.
The AL feels a lot more bulky than the ELC, I personally prefer the ELC as it feels more comfortable and less restrictive in...
I also own an AL Irvin and it is longer in the body than my ELC Irvin plus I think it's very well made also, however it's not an authentic representation of the Irvin but it's damn warm.
From what I can remember the price is similar to the ELC 42 pattern so maybe if you want to keep the...
I have a ELC house A2 in goat and it's a smashing jacket apart from.....you all guess it, the knits.
These are in my opinion still too thin and flimsy, Aero's knits are much better....not sure whether ELC has addressed this issue and made changes to the knit on their Werber.
ELC has finally released their Werber A2....here'e the link to their website for all those interested.

I have to agree, no pockets.....as Paddy mentioned go for the cheaper end of the market if you require pockets as the ELC and Aero Irvins are much more expensive and it would be a real shame to add pockets to these and an after thought as it would the true to life line of the jacket, just my...
just broke out my ELC Irvin in anticipation of the colder weather to come, currently wearing my Aero indian g/s A2 for general usage.....what a jacket it's so comfortable and already seemed broken in when I bought a couple of months ago for the sum of £100 brand new, bargin. :)
The Departed.....it's a re-make of the 2002 hong kong flick Infernal Affairs which I personally thought was better.
The Departed's screenplay is pretty much identical to that of Infernal Affairs just developed and streched out to fill the 2.5 hours.
Having said that it's a still a good film...
As far as I was aware, US sizes are bigger that say UK sizes eg. a size 10 shoe in the UK would be a size 11 in the US and from what I remember a UK size 44" jacket would be around a size 46"-48" in the US but don't quote me on that it's just a guide and I would contact the supplier before...
I saw the movie yesterday and it was a disappointment not a patch on LA Confidential, however as mentioned before it was a feast for the eyes with all the vintage clothing, decor and automobiles but apart from that it was a bit of a wet fish. :(
Anybody have the ELC RAF Sweater, if so any chance of a quick review eg. sizing, fit, length etc.
I am thinking about purchasing one but my size is currently out of stock so I thought I take the time to gather more info so any advice would be most appreciated.
Maybe he should have mentioned that it was originally an " ancient peace symbol " found on eastern spiritual statues, that would have thrown a spanner in the works.
