Good tip, I will give it a try! Did you put warm water on the rest of the jacket? I am a little tempted to put a very thin coat of picard's on it just to speed up the softening process, but have held off so far.

I recently ordered the aged tan cafe racer from Aero...it doesn't normally come with hand warmer pockets, but they are glad to put them in if I wanted them...I like the clean look w/out but maybe the jacket would be more usable with them...any consensus? Thx.
Picked up some packers recently from wesco and love them, farmer ranchers from whites are next...not too sure about the SD in bull hide though...maybe an acquired taste
