What does everyone think about getting the padding? Shoulder, elbows etc. I ordered mine with shoulders and elbows, but I thinking that the elbows might be enough. Although if I lay it down...will wish I had both.
That brown looks incredible. I have an order for a cascade in black mid weight steer with tan stitching...now having second thoughts. BTW, the heavy steer is extremely heavy, better for race leathers if you ask me. The goat is really top grade, but it wont get a patina like the steer....but will...
That jacket does have the western style cut on the shoulders, something that I dont care for personally. I am becoming a fan of the straight zip though...how would it look on a cascade?
I spent the better part of a day at Langlitz recently. I think that I prefer steer to HH, but that may just be me. The goat is nice too, but I like the patina that the steer delivers. What is wrong with the brass? That doesn't make any sense at all...
The jobmasters are a really great boot, albeit very heavy duty. Mine are about a year old. I think that a White's bounty hunter might be a better everyday boot...slightly lighter weight, but still very substantial.
The jacket was dry. I left on the lawn so any wax that leaked off of it didn't stain anything. I really liked it but not with the shorter arms, just enough to bother me. :(
I thought that WV 1000 was better quality than RWs...I wasn't that impressed with my IR, Whites and Wesco are 1000% better for not very much more than the $400 you mentioned.
