I am seriously considering getting a pair of Wesco engineer boots, but I have a couple of Wescos already that are lace up. I am concerned that the boot will lift off the heal without being able to get a tight fit with laces. This happended to me once with a really nice engineer boot...has anyone...
It looks terrible on you...I will be gald to do you a favor and take off your hands. Just kidding, I have the same exact one it is stout! Ur lucky to get it from what I heard they dont make em in HH anymore.
BTW, I also have a pair of the 634s that are dyed black, for some reason they are much more heavy duty 21 oz. Like an Aero HH jacket, they can stand up on their own...so they are really hard to break in too. Wearing em right now, with some Wescos.
I really like my Int'l Barbour, just wished that it rained more in SoCal so that it could get more use. It does collect just about every dust particle though, but that's OK.
So here is the deal, I have had a pair of the 634s for about two years.I really like the cut of the jeans and the 21 oz denim, but honesty they didnt stand up to normal wear. I had to repair the pockets, which are now torn again and the jeans have holes in them in just about every wear point...
I like my Enfield in brown HH the best. I purchased an Aero aged tan cafe in Steerhide and I am disappointed in the light weight zipper and the quality of the snap on the collar that Aero used, almost want to send it back.
I wouldn't buy any Filson product that was "imported". Not to say that it isn't the same quality, but I would go vintage at that point...real shame to see what has happened to the USA.
In Filson I have:
Forest green Mackinaw
Uplander boots/Made in USA
Bridle leather briefcase
Bridle leather sunglass holder
Bridle leather pen holder
Oiled field jacket
Brown wool vest
Red suspenders
Wool shirt
