This is another experiment based on the same pattern. I trimmed the sides and arms a bit, and made the collar a little smaller. It's getting closer....

Thanks guys- I always finish one of these and then immediately pick it apart for all the "mistakes" I made... It takes a couple days to get the perspective back...

One of the nice things about this pattern is that it can be made into a bunch of different designs (like the basic A-2 pattern). I made this one about 1" shorter than the previous version, but if I put that inch of body length back in, eliminate the waistbelt, and add a half belt to it I'll have a traditional "short" halfbelt.

All your jackets look top quality. Love the half-belt idea. I prefered the previous pockets as these slash pockets are too like my Highwayman. Already your jackets seem to be up there with the best.
