Yay! Love that pattern ;) I agree- 1935 is a dreamy year for McCall patterns! I just got this one. I'm really hoping it has all the pieces! Luckily it was inexpensive so if it doesn't it won't be a terrible loss. I really love the back inset gores.- Lauren

I would much rather someone like me for who I am than for what I'm wearing ;) But really, I think style is really great- and whether you put a label on it or not, I really don't think that vintage style needs to be limited to just authentic vintage clothing. This is exactly the mindset I've had in the last few years as well. Sometimes I think of things I sold that were really neat vintage pieces that no longer fit but I've never really missed any of it. I'm glad I have photos of me wearing them at the time, and that's good enough for me :)...- Lauren

No, not a stupid question at all! I am still getting used to mine so haven't figured it out yet :) But I do know that one of my hot rollers fell out before they were cool and it still was very curly :) -

I don't know! I did a pincurl set and waited until they were completely dry. With hot rollers I didn't have them in any longer than maybe 30 minutes- just until they were cool. I honestly at this point didn't notice too great a difference in wet set vs hot roller set- they both stayed in... -

Can you help me date this item??
Hmm... really hard to tell from the picture, but I'd guess earlier part of the 20th century- probably pre 1912. The lace looks like it could have been a later addition possibly. Very pretty! I adore that era.- Lauren
