I have seen pictures of those but have not actually ever seen one in person. The ones that I have seen photos of had the part attached to a piece of metal that was the same shape and size of the grip panel. It would be installed by removing the grip, placing it on the frame, putting the grip...
Speaking of Colt, it looks like they are getting back in the snub nose revolver market again. This is listed on their website for 2017.

Colt's Legendary Double-Action Revolvers Return
The Colt Cobra® marks Colt's triumphant return to the world of double-action revolvers. Its small...
Is that the 640? I kick myself for not picking one of those up years ago when I had the chance too. I settled for a 442 with the stainless finish instead since I was carrying it for uniform back up. Then they dropped it in the 38 special and made it in .357 Magnum, but it just doesn't feel the...
The Hampton looks goods on you. I have been toying with the idea of getting a smaller brim hat and I keep looking at the Hampton and the Stetson Saxon. I am leaning more towards the Hampton now.
Nice, I just wish that they would offer it in the Regency Fawn color. I also agree with the brim down very Sinatra and up Monkey. I do love a good pork pie.

Well did anyone get any new firearms for the holidays? I just picked up a Ruger Mini 14 GB or Government Barrel complete with the bayonet lug. Serial number puts in the 1981-1982 range. It was a trade in at the local cop shop and was priced right for me to want to give it a new home. I have...
Just to add my 2 cents. There is the Stetson Mercury. It is a C-crown fedora with a 2" brim. I know that it comes in Graphite which is a dark grey or the Benchley that comes in Caribou which is grey.
Hope that helps. Best of luck.

Wow, so many great films. Some of my Favorites are Detective Story, In Harms Way, Paths of Glory, Spartacus, The Big Sky, Ace in the Hole, Gunfight at the OK Corral, The War Wagon, Draw, and Tough Guys. He and Burt Lancaster looked like they enjoyed filming Tough Guys.
Happy Birthday Kirk...
