The only experience I had with a Beretta was when talking with a trooper many years ago. They had just switched from the 92 to the 96D (DAO). We were issued the S&W 4046 DAO. That is what I did. The sights are a little better than the first LCP, not quite as good as the LCP Custom, but a big improvement. The trigger with the short reset is fantastic. It is hammer fired and not striker fired and the stippling on the grip makes it a joy to hold. And the slide locks to...- Kirk H.
