    Probably just leave it plain. I may re-patch the jacket to represent the 449th FS, my uncles' unit (he flew P-38's in the CBI), but that's about it. I'm also going to replace the knits, the waistband has no elasticity left. Tempting though, a P-38 would look pretty good across the back...

    I got lucky on this one- usually large sizes (I.E modern sizes) gear gets pricey. I think since this stuff is post WWII, and not listed that well it went under the radar. It's all still '40's cut though- big, roomy, and comfortable with high armholes... Cheers Mark
