Still, if you look at it from a military point of view a flame-retardant A-2 is a pretty good idea. Too bad it's such a modern ugly cut.

Platon, you should post this on VLJ- I bet those guys would get a kick out of it.

It might not be for everyone, but it's an ok starter jacket. Some people like handwarmer pockets. I particularly don't but it not a bad jacket.

Nomex stinks though,and it's itchy and sweaty and horrible.I mean it's better than burning,but you wouldn't want to wear it as an everyday material.i'm sure there are better performing technical garments than an A-2 for those that need them.
