    eBay larger sized suit alert!

I would have to agree - looks like those sleeves are good for the era. French cuffs should also do the trick nicely. Congratulations on a really beautiful fit. I'm with Zohar - I wish it fit me, too!

Eh. The vest is probably just going to not get worn. I do have some good news, though... ...the bow tie is going to be included.

The holder is great...and I too missed it at first, as I hate the two layers of my tie flying all about...but I just got myself a tie clasp, and the problem was solved!

Hmmmm. I would go for that hat if I weren't saving up for a suit from Art. That's a nice one. I guess we'll see how the dough flows in the next couple of days.

um...maybe a photo shop guy should go to town on that thing and put a real tie in there... if I'm lucky, the suit's got bellbottoms, too... This guy who's modeling the suit was once one of Boz Scaggs' backup musicians, so maybe that has something to do with it too.

Hmmmm. That Dobbs is kind of nice. I wonder what size it is...?

The seller assured me it was an original 30s suit, if not older, she said. I guess we'll see when it gets here. ...ha ha ha. Charo.

All right, now you're all making me nervous. Nope, it's not me in those photos. I haven't even paid for the suit yet...just made an agreement to buy it. I think without the vest, it should look like a proper 30s suit... ...right?!?

You're welcome! I'm OK at finding stuff, but this was pure luck. When the suit was originally put up, there were no measurements listed. I emailed for them and I had just got them last night. Lucky coincidence! I hope you win 'em.

Well, I figure I can always wear it without the vest and have a fine-looking single-breasted suit. I'm not 100% sure I'm down with the bow tie...so I'm hoping it buttons high enough that wearing a regular tie will be OK.

OK, I just bought another vintage suit. You can see it below. Has anyone ever seen a low-cut vest like this one? I haven't, and I couldn't find one like it in any of my catalogs. The lady selling it to me says it's dated inside and the yellowish patina on the interior lining of the pants...

Brad, How about this? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=52388&item=8130218115&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW This seller is super nice. She is selling me another suit (one that has a prayer of fitting me) away from eBay. I wish that suit fit me. The fact that it comes...

MattDeckard, you're brave. That white Stetson looks like a 50s hat. Looks kind of wool, too. aha...just saw the 'rolling-and-laughing smilies' under your post James. I should have realized you were posting it tongue-in-cheek.
