I thought Spider-Man 2 was pretty great as well... ...but the big thing for me was getting to see a nice, long trailer for The Aviator. I can't wait for that movie to come out. -

Thanks for the kind words, gents. Interesting about that houndstooth being from the 50s. The fellow who owned both must have lot weight, because the brown suit has a 30 waist and the houndstooth is like a 27 or 28. bit of a tight squeeze for me, but I was able to wear it in the studio all... -

AndyKev, Those are indeed black shoes. In the photo, the houndstooth might look sort of like a brown houndstooth, but in reality, it is most definitely a black-and-white check. I put the brown shoes on, and they looked a little weird. I've been on the hunt for some good spectators, and... -

Well, it arrived...it's not wool felt, as the auction claimed. It's a Disney Twenty-Five, and the felt quality is probably one of the highest of any I own. It's fantastic! It's a little roomy (I can usually wear a 7 1/8, but I suspect someone stretched this a bit), but it's a beuatiful hats... -

wow - those are some of the nicest fedoras I have ever seen - especially the Dobbs. Man, that's nice!!! I have a Wynewood myself and I love it. Interestingly, I think LaSalle is the same company. I recently got a vintage LaSalle and the liners were identical, only it said "LaSalle" instead... -

whoa! I would love to see that footage some time, MK. That would have been three years after the hotel closed...but only two years before they sold all of its furnishings, etc. (that was in '95). You are a lucky man to have been able to spend time there. I have not seen the actual RFK...
