STRATOLINER
Killer shape, Douglas- it should really shine with a cleaning; I too like the pitch-try to do it with an OR and it doesn't come off like that beauty...and-are you going to stay with the contrasting ribbon? IMO that combo is just right (but then again, after viscious bidding, you own the hat!):D -

What they said...I just got through a really bitter time with a guy who simply lied about what transpired, then tacked on extra charges, and lied about that-ended up giving me a negative feedback, and lied about why!! his last neutral/negative feedback-the day before...whew! I agree on the steering toward a certain style-unconsciously-I like the OR/stratoliner look, and am trying like mad to find a Borsa with a Strat.copy-cat look. Still stumped as to the exact hat to look for...any help?? -

Yes-and a very good bit of deciphering why we get so frustrated putting the perfect hat on, only to have it "look wrong"- I take a 7 3/8 LO as well, and with a black beard, I have to be aware of the framing effect that will happen. Howdy,stranger...what size is that lid yer' showin'? look in the very back-just underneath the sweatband should be a paper label-or, measure the circumference of the inside of the leather sweatband with a cloth tape measure (really hard with a yardstick) the number of inches will translate... -

Great hats, thank you for the education! as previously intimated, try to use a plain background, on a cloudy day- that way the color wars will calm down, and we get to see the true color of the hat, rather than local color reflections,etc., and maybe think about wearing a plain shirt...all this... -
