Very nice Scott! Great ribbon work on that one. The navy blue liner looks very classy too.

Ask a question, get an answer

I'll second these that Richard suggested. They are fantastic and very versatile. I mainly use them to just cover my neck from the cold but they can easily be pulled up to cover your ears. There is a good video on the website showing all the different options for wearing them. They are very...

How do folks react to your hat wearing?

My father was a WWII vet and never wore hats. Except maybe a ball cap when we went hunting or fishing. He did have a full head of thick hair all his life. My grandfather was a WWI vet and I have very few memories of him without a nice hat. I can remember him in bed wearing his pajamas and a...

    Omega Speedmaster Watches

Vodka and Tang...sounds pretty good. A good name for the drink would be a "Space Station" in honor of the American/Russian International Space Station :)

    Lets see your Rolex watches

My first Rolex was a stainless and gold Datejust with a black dial. I bought it new in 1980 for around $1,800.00 after graduation and landing my first "real" job. It was stolen about 7 years later. It was a beautiful watch. I now have a stainless Datejust with a black dial bought after my first...

    Omega Speedmaster Watches

Max, congratulations on your pending wedding and good luck with your search for a Speedmaster. I was a kid in the sixties and fascinated with the astronauts. I drank a lot of Tang as a kid! I've always wanted a Speedmaster too but have never taken the time to do my research. If you find one...

    Western, anyone?

I'd recommend Sunbody Hats. I like to buy the fine grade Guatemalan straw in open crown. Very easy to shape. Just dunk them in cold water, shape them the way you want and wear it until it dries and the fit will be perfect. Buy one size larger than you normally buy because they will shrink after...

    Thoughts on females wearing fedoras

I think a woman wearing a nice fedora or western hat looks fantastic. However, I don't think anybody, male or female, looks good in those cheap, cloth, short brimmed hats.

    Jiffy Hat Steamer

+1 on this model. Make sure you only use distilled water or you will end up having to clean the mineral deposits out of it. That is not an easy task. I found that out the hard way :(

    Post New Hats Here!

Greg, the Spanish Phrenology hats look like very nice hats. The brim width on the rust colored hat suits you very well.

    Leather sweat band care?

I use Pecard's Antique Leather Dressing. I not only put it on vintage hats but also new hats when I first get them. It makes the sweatbands softer and conform to my long oval head easier. You can find it on the internet by doing a Google search.
