Yeah, I know that the battered tan will be stiffer, so I'll have some work to do. But the battered tan has just become sort of irresistible to me lately. And seeing your Teamster HD didn't help - just looks so good. I'm hoping that the Type III pattern will make breaking it in a little easier...
I'm waiting on a fit jacket from Carrie for an Aero Type III. Gonna scratch my Type 3 itch and my battered tan HH itch at the same time...interested to see how that hide works with that pattern.

Vanson Stormer Jacket in Olive waxed cotton. Size medium. Brand new, never worn. I purchased this directly from Vanson. I will include a new tin of Martexin wax with the jacket.
Please note that I had Vanson omit the arm patch that normally comes on this jacket - just not my thing.
$369...
SOLD. Thanks ProteinNerd.
I have Californian for sale on the bay. Link is below. The jacket is basically new - I just tried it on a bunch of times hoping that it would magically fit better one day. No such luck.
I have it priced at $889 on eBay. For a TFL transaction, I would do $789...
Guess people here don't like leather with a big pull up effect.
Personally, I like the look of the leather. It's the jacket design that's making me hesitate. It just looks kind of....blah.
Price is low. And I love leathers with a dramatic pull-up. Not made in China. Not sure I like the one-piece back. Sleeve construction looks slim and neat. Collar looks kinda wonky for some reason -- more StyleForum than TFL. Humm...trying to keep wallet in pocket.
They've got the same...
Some of the nicest grain and patina I have seen on goat, a hide that typically doesn't show much of either. Really nice little jacket. How does it fit?
Looks good, Terry. Tough to tell if horse or steer. I would guess steer, given the amount and structure of the grain, but who knows. Looks like a fairly nice fit. Collar construction reminds me of your ELMC Californians...love how it lays and sits at a 90 degree angle to the face.
That J100 looks fantastic on you. Exactly how that style should fit. Whatever you paid, it was worth it, as it is simply perfect on you. I wish I could find a J100 that fit me that well.
Congrats!
Looks really good. The few areas on the jacket that are a bit wonky will fix right up as you break it in and the leather loosens up. Looks like a great fit. Length is spot on. Sleeve length looks perfect.
You done good.
