    Freewheelers leather jackets

I'd like to think the price hikes will make people reconsider settling for a poor fit just so they can have a jacket by Brand X from Japan.

Stopping dye bleeding/dye transfer from my leather jacket's belt?

Again, the first thing he should have done is contact Schott. These are all valid things to bring up after someone has gone that route, or if it's a vintage jacket or something. The support/repairs team is really good at standing by their stuff.

Stopping dye bleeding/dye transfer from my leather jacket's belt?

Did you ever contact Schott about it, like I have suggested?

Aero Ridley Cordovan - 46 Custom

It's way too snug for my tastes. I ordered an Indian Ranger from Thurston but didn't realize until well into the process that Thurston by default submits every motorcycle jacket as a Ridley with X jacket's look. I wasn't able to change it after finding out because of the fit jacket thing.

    Quick Himel Brothers Review

I think our distance buying habits have contributed to a lot of the distorted buyer expectations in our subculture that contribute to it.

    Quick Himel Brothers Review

If anything, with good makers, the more someone tries to make the decisions instead of the maker, the worse the jacket turns out. Indisputably. People have psyopped themselves because of the over-reliance on measurements in workwear culture, due to things like us ordering from Japan...

Photos of cool jackets owned by others (non-brand specific)

His wife and daughter pick this stuff out, which explains a lot. Someone needs to take him from NVIDIA HQ to Johnson and let Alan pick out his new wardrobe.

    Quick Himel Brothers Review

In fairness, he presumably gave them his height and it would be pretty easy to extrapolate the usual back length from that, which wouldn't be 25".

You definitely need to size up, at least one if not two sizes.

rrl doublerl Slim Fit Leather Moto Jacket

I would be interested to know more of the backstory on this. I remember when it happened but I just assumed the details. It seemed like overnight Eastman jumped up a price tier or two. The pay more Veblen effect isn’t only found in China. I expect the fact that they’re stocked by Standard &...

*Mohawk hairstyle, you mean. But yes, he's effectively their head of advertising. It's definitely part of the business model of both FC and Lightning.

rrl doublerl Slim Fit Leather Moto Jacket

I think to an extent we're dealing with an English as a second language communications barrier here. I must say though this part made me laugh a bit because I actually agree with part of it, having experienced it myself. I am not familiar with DH or Brother Bridge, so I can't speak to them...

    Experience in Freewheelers leather sizing?

IMHO these makers usually fumble when they try to make large sizes. We've discussed Jason Momoa's custom Freewheelers here before; they clearly didn't know how to handle such a size and the jacket is weirdly proportioned. The Mulholland is a straight-zip 1940s CHP with side adjusters at the hem...

Love it or Hate it? Fine Creek Arrow Jacket!

At first glance, it doesn't look as bad as most Fine Creeks, but the tubular shape is really ill-proportioned. The goatskin looks beautiful though, so I'll give them that. I'd rather get the real Vanson. It has a much more flattering line.

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

To TMC's credit, they don't do the absurd Japanese sizing on these. a 44 has 24"/61.5cm pit to pit and 25"/62cm length.
