My experience with FQHH is less stiffness does not equal less snug-ness.... I have more freedom of movement = moving arms around, bending over, etc. but don't have more room underneath for layers....
Right, but they are trying to eliminate the ball caps = so all hats.
Lot's of clubs in ATL do it for the after game crowd & keep any gang affiliation down played.
Most folks see the fedora & think Murder Squad = Homicide Detectives. They get a lid when they solve their first murder.
Bound edge too...shame to see such a classic style altered
Neat mountain sheep color too. Mine is early 50's w/o the model name in the sweat. This one looks younger that it.
Based on Peacoat's post, I thought $30 was fair for metro-Atlanta area. I had all zippers on a Magnoli Open Road, 3 pockets, main plus 2 sleeves & strap buckles done last year. Think that main zipper was $50 of the job.
Paris Hatters list it on their website as available in black. http://www.parishatters.com/western-beaver-felts.html
I called them a while back to get a hat that had been discontinued by Stetson.
They should be able to help you.
Thanks Mike. Right after that, Hats Direct started offering the Campdraft Deluxe in Moonstone which we tried for when we did the Silverbelly Heritage CD....
Seems like a good classic mid-ribbon model Akubra could offer.
Thursday & Friday it was in the 30's for morning lows in Metro-Atlanta, so I gladly broke out my FQHH Aero 50's HB with alpaca lining. It felt great though a bit much for afternoons in the high 50s but tolerable.
Unfortunately, the zipper insertion pin gave it up. Now my jacket is at The...
The AL Spiegel has your cord piping feature. They would probably make it shorter without breast pocket & change the pockets to slash handwarmers....http://www.alexanderleathers.com/vintageclassics/spiegel.html
I don't think it is that but that the style points you ask about "working" are style points contrary to the vintage nature of this forum.
As you noted, the latest style jacket talked about around here is 50's HalfBelt with lots of preferences around 30's & some for the 20's.
Folks have done the...
Would you go to a Harley-Davidson forum to get advice on spec'ing out a custom Ducati-style scoot?
It'd be like me going to a Dressage forum to pick their brains about building a saddle for riding a reining horse...but that's me.
My dad was born in 1930 & seldom wore jeans. He had some but wore khaki pants when doing yard work.
I was born in 1960 & lived in jeans, both long & cut-offs.
For me, the transition happened between those 2 generations...
How about a board with 4 of these spaced out?
That would be great for my hallway with coats & hats...
Any discount for 4? I guess I could do the board part....
Nice work...
Yep, but some are businesses using ebay as another outlet to brick & mortar or catalog.
I have had all forms of refunds with 1 seller sending the wrong model telling me to keep it & sending me the exact same wrong model only to refund totally. I had 2 wrong items for nothing!
I too often...
Got a plasma in the great room. Only issue I have had is when lights are on in the kitchen behind me causing reflections. Had a corp apartment that had a Vizio LED in it. Both 1080p which only comes into play when watching blue-ray movies. My High-Def AT&TUverse isn't that high, not sure it will...
My parent's house had a formal dining room & formal living room.
We used both rooms once a year as a family at Christmas = tree was in the living room & ate of the "good china" for Christmas dinner.
We had a breakfast room & a den that we used every day.
My parents did "entertain" & used those...
