Right. My saddles get conditioned & oiled regularly because of use & washing & elements.
Some of my leather jackets have never been conditioned in 10+ years. Totally different finishes ...
I think as you gain comfort in wearing lids, wider brims don't seem so drastic. You were previously warned...
My stingy-est brim is 2 3/8, never thought I care for anything less than 2 1/2.
Under 2 3/8, I don't see the sun protection I need against skin cancer.
I'll go with over-thinking...
I know I have used alcohol to remove the finish on leather to dye another color but that is different than beer & liquor.
At worst, it may dull the finish but a little conditioner should restore that easily.
None of my jackets that have had frequent drink spillage are any worse for wear....
Yea, I do that for every less than $25 purchase. Still does not address having to pay the return shipping to get the refund. What button or feature does that?
Before I get more ebay buying tips because I am so new to that & unsuccessful at it too, the only opinion about the product...

& well worth the price....Unfinished does not mean torn down in any way shape or form. Partially refinished maybe. You must have a much nicer monitor than I do. I gave a guy who bought out a hat factory more credit than I should've but nothing more...
Aesthetically, they are both beautiful, artful leather jackets, just like a Ducati & a Harley-Davidson are beautiful motorcycles but totally different looking & different riding styles.
They feel different in weight & tactile dimensions.
As far as durability goes, they both are substantial...
Won this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/380722597957?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 but the seller didn't think it would matter that the hat still had stitching in it where a sweat had been sewn in & removed plus glue residue where a liner had been installed & removed. He did...
In this picture the sleeve length is good. My only concerned is with wear, would the sleeves crease up & become shorter?
I have a jacket that I used to wear for motorcycle riding that sleeves were good until they wrinkled up.
I have some fairly long gauntletted gloves so it wasn't that big of...
