Replacing a zipper...

Thursday & Friday it was in the 30's for morning lows in Metro-Atlanta, so I gladly broke out my FQHH Aero 50's HB with alpaca lining. It felt great though a bit much for afternoons in the high 50s but tolerable.
Unfortunately, the zipper insertion pin gave it up. Now my jacket is at The Leatherman getting a zipper replacement job, quoted at only $30.
Seems like those pins could be crimped in & not have to rip out & re-sew an entire zipper system???

Hope you find someone good and not to overpriced if anything just wander over to LA I never pay more than 20 for a zipper replacement around here lol :)

Based on Peacoat's post, I thought $30 was fair for metro-Atlanta area. I had all zippers on a Magnoli Open Road, 3 pockets, main plus 2 sleeves & strap buckles done last year. Think that main zipper was $50 of the job.

My seamstress does it for about $40. I would say somewhere between $40 and $60 would be a fair price.
