Cleaning my hat... a slightly odd question.
I wear all of my hats except the really dressy ones out to my barn. They all probably get fecal matter on them one way or another. A good brushing will clean your hat well enough unless you are a serious germophobe. Do no use alcohol but get some Zippo lighter fluid on a white rag & blot the... -

I have a 44 Aero Steerhide Highwayman. I wear a 44 suit & also have a 44 Magnoli Open Road & a 44 AL Dirt Rider. I also have a 42 Aero FQHH 50s Half Belt. Ordering an Akubra from Everything Australian
I've done the +3 month wait for an EA Campdraft a few times now. Both were well over 9 weeks. Haven't they had wild fires in that part of Oz? For what you get, well worth the wait & then some. JMHO -

Favorite Motorcycle Riding Jackets In Your Collection
Favorite until purchasing a discounted AL Dirt Rider was my vintage Fidelity Leathers cafe racer. I had the pocket zipper on 1 removed since the pull was missing. Still breaking in the Dirt Rider but it is doing nicely.- gtdean48

Cowhide Character Development?
I wore it while it was damp until it dried. Seems to fit a tad better but can't see any difference in the grain. I'll wear it as much as I can but the thing still looks brand spanking new to me. Thanks for all the replies. Keep the suggestions coming....- gtdean48

Cowhide Character Development?
I have a used FQHH that is developing lots of character as I wear it doing almost everything I can around the ranch. Now, I also have a cowhide Highwayman that looks brand spanking new. I know this cow is tanned differently than the Horween Horse so can I accelerate its patina development any?[huh]- gtdean48
