Art's nutria blend is his special recipe by Winchester.
I have the BotP that Sam mentioned plus a Journeyman in this felt.
It is a more rugged & durable than dress weight beaver for sure.
Retail westerns are a different price due to higher supply/demand. Have you priced a custom western?
100% beaver western custom far outstrips a 100% beaver custom fedora.
Those felt bodies are more to start with so the end product is more.
Thanks all for the great replies.
I have zip-out liners that are wearable themselves that definitely have zipper pulls.
I have an unlabeled MC jacket that originally had a liner & am looking for brands to consider in my search for a replacement.
Not a very hopeful endeavor & have micro-fleece...
+1... got one & use it regularly. I also have western hat cans for the larger brimmed lids.

My best one was an Akubra Fed4. It handled the overhead bins with no problems...

Kiwi, made of horsehair =...

TIA
I'm a 7 5/8 LO, 61, 24"

They are more rare & bring a high asking price it seems but they are out there.
BTW my father was a 7 1/2 & 5'11". My older...

I've got moccasins comparable to my Aero FQHH but really like the Hercules FQHH.
Wish it was a tad bigger. Maybe my son will wear it. Was listed as a 44, hoped it was at least a 42 but looks like it's a 40.
