I cheated! And with a co-worker whom I like BETTER! What to do?!

I have been with my current hair stylist for a few years. I was happy with her for a while but the last few cuts I haven't loved. I thought about finding a new one, but the last time I went through that kind of transition I ended up with someone who gave me a mullet. :eeek: So I'm not very...

    Creating your living time capsule

Thanks for reviving this thread. Whenever people come to my house, they immediately stop, look around, and seem to relax and brighten. Not kidding. They always say how homey it is, and relaxing, and they love to just sit in my living room and look around. Then they ask if they could come with...

    Semi-Formal Wedding in NYC- What?

What bothers me is that fashion and trends are two very divergent things....sometimes. In this instance I will ALWAYS opt for what is most FLATTERING and occasion-appropriate based upon tradition. I will not go bare-legged at age 50, 60, or if I have varicose veins.

    Semi-Formal Wedding in NYC- What?

I did feel like a conservative prude. But if you have leg acne, is it too much to wear pantyhose? How about a wrinkle-free suit for the best man? Or not having your bra cups show the cut is so low? I love cork wedges but not at a wedding.

    Semi-Formal Wedding in NYC- What?

I was at a wedding in New York City this past weekend that was semi-formal. The majority of women were not wearing nylons and many wore open toe shoes and sandals (not peep toe). Is this the new semi-formal wedding attire?

Do you think there could be a second Great Depression?

With banks still recovering from a decade-long credit bubble, governments slashing spending to cope with unsustainable debt, and unemployment at levels not seen in decades, a new recession would be “disastrous,” according to Roger Altman, a senior Treasury official in the Clinton administration...

The general decline in standards today

I've always thought women are too civilized and evolved to resort to brute force. :p
