Akubra Campdraft
I ordered an Akubra Traveller in Bran that should be here in 3-5 days from EA. The Oz to US dollar was at a decent point & I wanted to try it with my Christy's tube since Christy's Foldaway was such a disappointment. I can compare to Heritage Silverbelly & Imperial Tawney Fawn when it arrives. -

Usual answer = it depends. Factory pressed cattleman creases are a challenge to totally eliminate. Are you sending it off to a hatter for restoration or doing this yourself? Used hats will have "fade" patterns based on the original crease. Most hatters will take the hat back to open crown state... -

My dad was a dentist & only corrected anybody that called him "mister". Worked with plenty of D. Ed. & Ph. D.'s, never had 1 of them mention being called "doctor".
