    Banjo or Coober

I like the smaller brimmed Banjo, less of a safari look to me. Don't care for the vent holes either. Taller crown is preferable too....

So whats so horrible about the new Stetsons anyway?

IMHO there is definitely a $50 worth of difference in these 2 offerings. I handled the Mink Premiere Strat a great deal & never had residue on my finger tips. Can't say that about the Caribou HatCo modern Stetson Stratoliner.... The ribbon treatment & stitching are greatly improved.

Compared to the Akubra Heritage grade, the Stetson Premiere Stratoliner has a nicer finish. JMHO Imperial Akubras are much rougher.

Besides the actual stamping on the sweatband, I can't see any difference. Your sweat looks almost identical to mine save the Royal Stetson marque...

Open Crown Stetsons: A Call (Plea) to Retailers!!

I just noticed that the black Premiere Strat posted by Jared is a Royal Stetson grade but the Cornhill one shows Royal Deluxe grade like my Mink one. Is that intentional or a slip-up?

Open Crown Stetsons: A Call (Plea) to Retailers!!

+1 I definitely concur with Perry. Mine arrived today & I'll say that this is WHAT should've been done when HatCo originally relaunched the Stratoliner with the exception of this hat pin. As the hat left the box, this pin left the ribbon...The dimensions & the hand are worthy of the iconic...
