For sale good wear leather capeskin a-1 (size 44-46)

FOR SALE GOOD WEAR LEATHER CAPESKIN A-1 (SIZE 44-46) Part of the fun of this hobby is the changing scenery. With the addition of a couple of jackets, I'm about to offer a couple of jackets that are not getting enough wear. As I've said before, in my household all the jackets have to work for...

    Aero's Antique Russet Horsehide ANJ-3

Sorry , I don't think that I made myself clear - the collar of the Aero jacket and my old McGregor Sportswear AN-J-3 are similar in profile, albeit the Aero is somewhat more exaggerated in width (the McGregor is far more elegant IMO). Given the hide colour and general features, the Aero looks...

    Aero's Antique Russet Horsehide ANJ-3

I've owned a couple of original AN-J-3 jackets and this collar resembles the Doniger/McGregor Sportswear pattern pretty well. The collar is a little wider, but not extravagantly so. The other more conventional A-2 type pattern is somewhat smaller.

A change of lining and bi-swing? Your choice of course, but at what point do you stop calling it an M-422A? ;-)

New GW Cooper in Steer (drool worthy)

The right zip is a nice touch - don't see many of that pattern around.

Anybody receive a new Bill Kelso jacket recently?

Jeff, the extension of the top stitching down the sleeve is common on other contracts: my Perry is the same.

Anybody receive a new Bill Kelso jacket recently?

The stitches on my Good Wear jacket are not perfect either Scott. As you've said before, it simply gives character and confirms that they're not made by robot.

Anybody receive a new Bill Kelso jacket recently?

It's not a contract with which I'm familiar Van so I had to consult Gary Eastman's book. From the images it looks a very well executed example, apparently true to pattern (there are others, including Andrew) who have owned original Werbers and are far better placed to comment, but it's certainly...

Looking for a first leather jacket, likely the only one I'll have for a long time.

+1 I have a Good Wear Perry 23377 A-2 and a LVC Menlo Cossack in dark russet, veg tanned goat and I wear them more than the capeskin at the moment. Lightweight, very durable and, if the hide is a quality one, it'll develop great character with subtle marbling, areas of gloss and dull hide, and...
