Vintage ways to keep your ears warm?

My friend's were actually vintage and the thin band went up over his head.

Vintage ways to keep your ears warm?

A friend of mine had a vintage pair of ear covers, very thin and had a very thin, narrow band that was made specially to fit under a fedora.

That mid-50s one on the left is very sophisticated looking. It would go really well with a couple 50s jackets I have. ;)

'Big Jim McLain,' (1952) with John Wayne, is a good one for popular Hawaiian-themed men's clothing.

    What are you wearing today??

I found this nice early-1960s sport jacket at the Goodwill this week. It's labeled: Robert Hall Quality Clothes.

I really like the colors and geometric shapes of the Arrow. I first thought it was a Wembley as I have some so very close to this.

I really like the geometric sailboat(?) and the whimsical palm tree. The tie in the top photo on the right has some unique colors to it.

How much would you pay for a vintage necktie?

I'm spoiled from the days of finding my Dalis at yard sales for a quarter........

    Turning glasses into shades.

I had a small local optical shop place shaded lenses into these vintage frames. It cost about $50 each which isn't too bad for one-of-a-kind sunglasses. [/IMG]

How much would you pay for a vintage necktie?

Part of the fun of wearing vintage ties, to me, is buying them so cheap. I'll look at the bland $10 neckties in Wal-Mart and know that I own some real works of art I purchased for a dollar or less. I'll see some very nice vintage ones in antique shops, but, no matter how much I may drool over...

    What are you wearing today??

Thanks, you two. Honestly, I don't get a whole lot of opportunity to dress like this (outdoors gettin' dirty or out on my bicycle a lot of the time).
