It's not ugly to me, either. It's won a couple of ugly tie contests in the past, though. One, at a video store, I won a life-size cardboard cut-out of the Bob Hoskins character from Roger Rabbit. I wonder what happened to that........[huh]
I visited the Goodwill this morning and came away with this pair. I really didn't want to buy them as I didn't find them in the best condition. The real reason I bought them is to give many of you a lesson in determination and why not to give up the hunt! lol

I was a model for local portrait class today (seven lovely ladies staring at me for hours....:rolleyes: ). There'll be three more sessions to model for. I brought about 25 ties, six hats, three outfits and we took some time to pick out what they wanted. I'm not wearing nice shoes in this shot...
I'm in sort of a perplexity a week from now. I've been asked to model...vintage style...for a portrait painting course. It will be four three-hour classes. Now what am I going to wear??? [huh] :D
I've found it most interesting. A few old high school classmates have found me. I've actually gotten free-lance photo work because of FB. Can't complain about it.
It has all the markings of a vintage shirt. Are the button holes horizontal (not necessarily on all vintage)? Where's the white button located? Cool shirt, though. :)
It's hard to describe. It's eight inches top to bottom. It is in a 'frame' with a metal back, a plastic (?) cover and an unknown cushioning underneath. On the back it says 'Arostoli, Arthur & Bill, Taken in Greece' (so you are correct about it being European). It's a sepia print with watercolors...
