Lower is a vintage Park Royal. No size label, but they both are perfect fits and I am a 7 1/8

I wear shorts a lot in this warm weather. I walk a dog and I bike quite a bit. You just won't catch me wearing pleated shorts, though. There's just something too effeminate about those....
A couple of Goodwill finds yesterday...early 60s and late 50s. Goat head(?) and horse head. There were other narrow ones, but these were the best. [huh]

I recently came across the story of 'razzle dazzle' paint schemes on WWI ships. Colorful, modernistic shapes and patterns that were designed to confuse the German U-Boats at that time. I dug a few ties out with similar patterns (although these are way post-WWI).

I have just recently discovered this piece of history of U.S. war ships painted with modern art design schemes to confuse enemy submarines. Although mainly WWI, it did have some limited use during WWII. If I had a large yaught I'd certainly give it one of these paint designs...:rolleyes...
