    Hahah. My first was issued to me when I joined the school cadet Corp in 1985. Pure polyester bag of shapeless green. With sleeves so long I had to triple roll them. Finally got a decent wool one when I joined the reserves five years later.

    It is a little - the neck seam on my rollneck itches a bit. It’s soft and full of lanolin, but you’d never confuse it with cashmere. Definitely Outdoor knitwear, but still relatively comfortable.

    Thanks again! I usually end-up wearing dress shirts and sportscoats that are too short in the sleeves. I might have to fight my inclination to go shorter and listen to advice this time!
