This is probably sacrilege even asking as I know this type of shirt is supposed to fit lose and boxy, but if I wanted one in a slimmer fit ... where would I look?

Yes! When I was in the army in the early 1990s, we transitioned from greens to DPCU camo. For a few years we had a nice wool jumper in a dark tan with dpcu cotton epaulets and shoulder-elbow patches. I may still have one...
Hahah. My first was issued to me when I joined the school cadet Corp in 1985. Pure polyester bag of shapeless green. With sleeves so long I had to triple roll them.
Finally got a decent wool one when I joined the reserves five years later.
It is a little - the neck seam on my rollneck itches a bit. It’s soft and full of lanolin, but you’d never confuse it with cashmere. Definitely Outdoor knitwear, but still relatively comfortable.

I spent some time in the ADF, so a part of me wants a wristwatch with a broad arrow. Smiths W10s are attractive, but I tell myself I don’t want to turn into a watch collector.
It’s not a true service watch, but the IWC mkXV my wife gave me for our 10th anniversary...

I usually end-up wearing dress shirts and sportscoats that are too short in the sleeves. I might have to fight my inclination to go shorter and listen to advice this time!

This is a P519 I’m using as a base for measurements, that fits fairly well in the shoulders and body. I’m mostly interested in body length and arms - thinking maybe a half...
Thanks, that just jogged my memory! The MTO fee was added right around the time I was shopping for new boots. I emailed them and they dropped it for me.
