Two hombergs and a double hatbox for a low price.
Great looking Brown Bowler, i'd be happily wearing it right now if I had the right sized noggin.
Sam L. Orr is stamped on the sweatband as the maker, and apart from a loose sweatband it's in great condition. No Moth nibbles or tracking of any kind.
$50 shipped for this lovely specimen...
Grey Bowler made in Paris. Almost passed on this one because it had some light moth tracking on the crown and underside of the brim, but i'm glad I didnt as after a light pouncing they're no longer visible. It has some damage to the grosgrain on the brim and needs a good clean but aside from...

Looks to be in pretty good condition.
Really? Well thats nifty, makes it even more a shame that the sweatband is in such dire straits. I thought because of the boxy profile it had, it might be a later example.
Thank you very kindly for the heads up Carouselvic and Brad.
Thank you Splinter, I just wish I had the ability to shrink my head at will
Heres a second one that came in today and thankfully this one fits like a peach and was an amazing deal, it will require a new sweatband soon though. I believe this is a 50's to 60's Knox Premier with embroidered...
I don't have an enormous amount of expertise but just looking at the swoop of the brim and the styling of the sweatband that this was an early 1900's.
Gorgeous little hat. Keyword being little. This would make a lovely display piece or an amazing gift to a young one.
Asking for $55...
Without a doubt one of the most beautiful hats i've had come into my possession unfortunately this one is 6 5/8 and will have to go in the classifieds much to my dismay. Just seeing it in person was easily the worth the price of admission though.
This one has an almost identical crown and brim style as my Stetson Standard. The only differences are that the Herbert Johnson has a longer haired finish to it like a Lock and Co. or Christys Bowler and is a bit heavier.
206 grams. Easily the heaviest bowler I've owned so far.
I just weighed a few more for reference.
Stetson Standard Quality-134 grams
Moore and Sons- 148 grams. Labeled as Featherette
Miller Correct Styles- 156 grams
Herbert Johnson- 170 grams
Knox Premier- 152 grams
Thank you kindly I will as well, I was pretty stoked when this one popped up.
And Garrett I'll definitely keep you in mind if it doesnt fit, i'd always rather see a hat find a head that fits it.
I might try that, finding a color match is going to be a slight pain as the felt is more of a rust or brick color than a true brown. Bringing it into Pauls Hatworks might be my best option.
