And a hat that doesn't fall down over his ears. Or is that what you do when no one can tell your hat is on sideways? (Since the brim goes all the way around.)
No problems and no apology needed. As far as the felt grade is concerned I'll be better able to answer that once I've received my Stratoliner and can compare them side by side.
I did. Take a look at L.L. Bean's Moose River, which is what I was referring to. $119. In none of my posts on this have I mentioned any hats other than the Moose River or the Stratoliner.
So they basically took a $120 hat, stuck a $5 liner in it (that's what it cost me to have a Stetson liner installed in my Moose River), put about $2 worth of ribbon on the edge, stuck on a really cheap pin, called it a Stratoliner and jacked the price up another $60 and thought no one would...
I meant to add that from the pictures this new Stratoliner looks very much like my early 90's Moose River with the addition of a bound edge. Same bash. It originally came with the thin ribbon as well, although the most recent versions of the Moose River come with a leather band and is unlined...
The crux of the matter is whether or not this reintroduced Statoliner looks like and has the same dimensions as the 1940's Stratoliner. The ads and literature clearly state that Stetson is bringing the hat back. Not that it is just putting out a hat called the Statoliner and it's "inspired" by...
With my wife it's luggage. We have more luggage than we'll ever use. I don't bug her about that unless she's bugging me about (current obsession here).
Yep. Show was called Wing Nuts. Lasted one season and one of the main characters died.
It was fascinating to watch how they made some of the items, but it was also typical Discovery Channel dysfunctional situations.
Wasn't there a show on tv a year or two back where some company, I think in Arizona, was making all kinds of custom furniture out of old airplane parts?

Since converting to digital years ago I haven't kept up with available films. My film cameras (Canon A1's) are actually in a box at my feet here under the computer desk and I do miss using them. After reading the Kodak spec sheet on the BW400CN and a few other forum's posts on the...
For me, Poltergeist had some scenes in it that really did make the hairs on my neck stand up. For example, the scene in the kitchen where the chair moved across the room towards the little girl. Not at all scary when describing it, but as done in the movie it was quite eerie. Same with the...
