I'm 6'2" 185lb, 42" chest, 33" waist, 19.5" shoulders:
Edit: the Cafe Racer is actually a very early Alexander Leathers, but it was made at a time where they still used exact copies of Aero patterns.
This is me in a 42 with a thick jumper:
There is no tapering from pits to hem, mine is 23" pits and hem, 44 should be good for you. I think i paid 450$ on TFL for mine, the are pretty rare.
Not saying this is the case with you, but to me this was a cas of unknown unknown.
When i first joined TFl it was basically an Aero cult.
I did what everybody else did, i bought some Aeros, and like everybody else i thought they where a great jacket, i thought what i was experiencing was how a...
+1
The idea that with an Aero you get "more leather for your money" because the leather is unksived is ridiculouse.
Yes, you get more leather, but you also get some of the worst patterns currently being made.
Personally i would rather loose 25gr of skived seams and have a jacket that is...
That's my favourite jacket of your collection, it's really cool.
I'm so glad you didn't go for a giant dual slider zipper like he uses a lot for the moment.
Hi, welcome.
Your jacket doesn't look dry to me.
That doesn't mean you can't put anything on it, just don't overdo it. I have jacket that are 20 years old and have never received any sort of conditionning, but i also have jackets that are much younger and felt dry so i gave them a coat of...
My only cordovan jacket is pretty purple, it took some time for me to get used to it.
The first few times i wore it i had this weird dissociated feeling where i couldn't recognise my own arms in that colour.
After a few wears i got used to it and i know see it as i would see a brown leather...
That vest is odly familiar...
It's a shame JL don't have more interresting house models.
They are great at copying other makers but i have never seen an original JL design that made me want to order it.
Looks like your averge made in Pakistan mall jacket to me, the kinda stuff you would get in Brick Lane.
Probably not the gratest leather but i woud say that for 30 quid you did well, it looks decent and fits pretty well.
@JMax you have to get that logo painted on the front fender with a single bullet in the cylinder, add another bullet if you get another one... (fingers crossed you don't!)
Not sure i would recommend FL, to me the experience has been similar to GW, I was promised a fit jacket for January 2021, still nothing, no progress and no real communication...
Red Devil is in a similar situation.
He was still quoting potential new clients 12-14 months when i had been waiting 5 years.
I am pretty sure the longest wait on recorde on TFL was close to 8 years.
GW is a deposit scam, keep your money in your pocket...
