Although i agree with everything you said, i have to say you can't just expect clients to wait for an email answer for more than two months, that's just unprofessional.
They used to offer great jackets and great customer service, now they offer great jackets and crap service, which is a lot less...
That guy is hopeless, he told me my CXL Vansons couldn't be Vansons as Vanson only used black dyed through leather. Since my CXL jacket had brown underside of the hide it wasn't a Vanson!
I pointed out the CXL Left Field jackets, he stopped answering me, no answer since 9th of december.
I have...
Those look really nice.
Personally i am done with new Vanson for the moment, the recent customer service is a joke.
They have a new guy called Nick who doesn't know what he is talking about, and they seem incapable of answering emails. My last attempt at contactign them was in early January, all...
All my thoughts are in there:

They are really cool jackets, my favourite way to wear sheepskin.
They are waterproof, block the windchill a lot better than regular leather, are far more breathable than a B-3.
IMO they are a lot...
I've just picked up this weird Vanson from Buyee.
It looks like a variation of the Boston Police jacket, what was interresting to me was that most seams are french stitched and the armholes are tripple stitched, neither of these things are usual on a Vanson.
HAs anybody got info on this?
I also thought it looked a bit big, but as @Monitor said, "If you don't care, the world cares even less." and that guy really looks like he doesn't care, so i don't care.
I personally don't think it's age related, it depends on the person.
I have seen people in their 20s look like crap in a MC/D pocket leather jacket, i have seen people in their 70s look amazing in the same style of jacket.
It's about making the jacket yours and looking natural in it, not about...
+1 on these damn import fees...
I just had to pay 80€ importing something worth £159! That has to be my most out of proportion import taxe payment yet, even with sellers accepting to declare low value importing things into the EU seems more and more unsustainable with all the extra fees they...
Funny how marketing works...
I personally would never ride in that jacket, the leather is paper thin and would most likely not hold up in a crash, and the lack of windflap means you have a giant baloon back above 70km/h.
This is probably one of the least bike friendly jackets in my collection...
At around 70 jackets i think i fit in the collector category...
I have been collecting things as long as i have been alive, rocks, marbles, coins, stamps, cards, instruments, ratchets, spanners, musical instruments, leather jackets, it's just an integral part of who i am.
Regarding leather...
IMO that's using the wrong tool for the job.
Buttons will let air in, the coat is too long and will ride up, and the poor Aero forward mobility will be a PIA to reach handlebars.
I would not do it.
I'm pretty sure anyone who is above 6' and had to walk on sidewalks at rush hour when it is raining has similar vues...
People are too careless to handle an umbrella without poking all the tall people's eyes out.
I also value the use of my hands, and to me the the umbrella trade-off is not...
It's easy to find information, just google "average days of rain in ..."
I'm not saying wearing veg tanned in the rain will damage the jacket, just that i have never worn a veg tanned leather jacket that has kept me dry in Belgian rain.
Even my Thedi and it's waxed finish was fully soaked after...
Don't mean to sound rude, but you live in an area with 30 days of rain a year.
As someone living in a country with more than 200 rainy days a year i can tell you veg tan sucks in the rain.
I wear leather jackets in the rain, but not veg tanned ones.
Did you get one of each?
I had a black unlined one on order last year but sent it back.
Sizing was completely off, jacket fit like a bag, one size too large and all the measurements where 1 or 2" larger than what he had told me they where.
Stitching and construction was also pretty poor, lots of...
Keep in mind that the cost of shipping varies depending on season.
In the middle of summer shipping a jacket from USA to Belgium using Fedex is around 75$.
Just around the Christmass and new year season you would be lucky to pay 150$ for the same box.
When the total quantity of parcels to be...
