I think of it more as VHS/DVD era clairty (actually, the lack thereof) vs Blu Ray clarity. I prefer the former. I don't need to be able to count the pores on an actor's nose.

This is good advice. Most of these short motorized bicycle rider jackets, when they were originally designed halfway through the last century, were intended/expected to be worn over high-rise pants, which were the norm of the day.
I think I posted some of these photos before but I was not using the forum's image tool and they're now lost. Anyways, surprisingly for a fashion shoot, it looks like they've used a good quality jacket for these photos.
