The mid-weight horse gets my vote.
I have FQHH from Aero in 50s HB, a jerky HH from AL & a goat from Magnoli.
Weight & suppleness goes to the jerky HH.
Love the patina of the FQHH but it is substantial compared to the jerky HH.

Knox 100 should bring well over $100 if the right size. For me, a 100 by most vendors is on par with 100% beaver custom if in decent shape. Whether you get knowledgeable buyers for that size on your listing is a crap shoot...
Depends on the hatter & his process. With Art, for sure. His conformer gets your noggin shape & the hat fits that.
Getting a band block he makes to that shape is a great asset to have as well.
I collect hats that are my size that I will wear, vintage & modern.
