The 40 is just too snug in chest & shoulders. Length is fine in body & sleeves. Very nice vintage example. Will provide photos for anybody with something to trade. Was going to let my son have it but he has shown no real interest in vintage leather jackets...gets that from his mom I guess....[huh]- gtdean48

Recommendation for Outdoors Hat
A buddy of mine swears by the Filson Tin Cloth, re-treats is yearly. I just wear any old Akubra I feel like, mostly the Bushman or a Campdraft....today, I building character of a 10X Stetson OR.... -

I'd go with Stetson size for Akubra size. I'm a 61 in both. It does depend on what Akubra model you are looking at too. Fed4's run smaller than say a Campdraft & Squatter. I have a Boss of the Plains, Bushman, 5 Campdrafts & Fed4, all are 61. All my Stetsons are 61 as well. So are my vintage... -
Famous People in Flight Jackets
I've been riding bikes "again" now for 20 years. Sold mine when I moved to the big city, took awhile to get the funds to get back into once I moved out in the rural areas. I wave at all 2 & 3 wheelers, give waves, don't expect 1 back... I ride one mainly because my horse can't do highway...- gtdean48
