Just picked up my first brimmed hat, an open crown Squatter model from Everything Australian. Originally wanted a Bogart in black but there was a 2 wk delay getting my size, so I went with dark grey Squatter instead. This was my first time bashing / creasing a hat so Im looking for some...
So I'll probably end up with a larger brim Fed eventually (once Im comfortable), but just to test the water I ended up ordering a Bogart in Black from Everything Australian. I found an old beat up /too small black fedora at my grandfathers and it actually looked decent with a black leather coat...
Just to further complicate my decision, which Akubra style / styles do you think would "fit in" with a person in a Toyota 4Runner. ha! Clearly it would be a different hat (or purse) if I drove a Prius !!
I am not a regular brimmed hat wearer, but have been wearing lots of flat caps recently. So maybe I'm starting to wade into the hat wearing pond a bit. I think I've seen stylemaster "like" hats in regular stores/malls in NJ/NYC but I think those might come across a bit too "brooklyn hipster"...

Purchased new from Aero a little under a year ago, but I'm thinning out the heard as I really have too many jackets now. No room left in the closet! Anyway, this is the regular Horween FQHH in Black. Now has some patina and nicely softened so that it drapes. Lined in black Alpaca wool, sleeves...
Tagged Size L per Ralp Lauren RRL which runs more like a M. Actual jacket measurements below. I'm not a tailor but these should all be pretty close. Again, this is probably closer to actual M but RRL runs small.
Pit = 22.5"
Shoulder= 19.5"
Back Length=26.75:
Sleeve =25"
Bottom Hem= 22"
Purchased new this summer but I have too many coats now so this one is up for grabs. $500 shipped in USA only. Paypal friends/family option or buyer adds $ to cover the fees. Smoke / pet free home, not even fully broken in.
