    Aero Battered Tan

Many thanks! And I can now see what you mean about the potential effect on a longer style coat. I'm also adding a little length to the teamster so there would definitely be a lot of noticeable variation. My sample cutting of battered tan actually evened out color-wise after I got it wet, then...

    Aero Battered Tan

Thanks Zebedee. Would you say the this hide darkens over time / instead of fading? After messing around with my cutting from Aero, I think it darkens as it absorbs skin oils / dirt etc. Red Fox Steer sounds interesting but the "red" scares me off, more of a tobacco man here.

    Aero Battered Tan

Anyone out there own an Aero in the Battered Tan HH with feedback on how it ages / develops compared to say FQHH or CXL Steer? Pics would also be great! I've seen photos of new jackets and also have a cutting from Aero, but theres no substitute for owner feedback. Thinking of a Teamster in...

AKUBRA Squatter - 58 New (USA)

Unfortunately my hat wearing/sizing experience is limited so I can only offer my opinion. For me this feels pretty roomy, especially around the sides. Maybe Im more a long oval head and should have gotten a 57.

AKUBRA Squatter - 58 New (USA)

Size 58 Open Crown Squatter Model in Carbon Gray. I've bashed it but this hat has never seen the outdoors. Unfortunately it's just too big for me. I thought it would tighten up / mold to my head after the bash but it's not going to work. Price is $100 USD via PayPal, includes shipping to USA.

    Most Useful Pocket Setup ?

Everyone has different needs but I've seen versions of the Teamster on folks look like a 3/4 (which I like) and then a short half belt style (not a fan). And no matter what, I need the cargo / flap pockets to put things in. My hands go in my jean pockets more than the hand warmers. Looks less...

    Most Useful Pocket Setup ?

Agreed on the chest pocket, mainly for looks to "balance" a jacket. I rarely use these, also keeps the pocket blousing nice and tight. But I can't live without cargo pockets of some sort. Really useful for putting manly stuff in! ha. If you were looking specifically at an long Aero Teamster...

    Most Useful Pocket Setup ?

Just saw this setup which looks interesting. But it's hard to tell without seeing someone wear it. Thoughts ??

    Most Useful Pocket Setup ?

My guess is the patch pocket was too narrow a space? If only it was made with an pleat/fold of leather to give it more room. Davy- do you have a photo by chance?

    Most Useful Pocket Setup ?

On a button up semi-long leather jacket (i.e. Stockman,Teamster,Work Coat, etc)? Which would provide the most utility and best looks? Patch (Stockman) Flap (Cheyenne) Flap/Handwarmer (Long Halfbelt) Corded Flap/Handwarmer ( Halfbelt Deluxe)

    A long time coming

Excellent jacket. I've been considering one of these myself so seeing it on a real person definitely helps. Now to decide between a Wayfarer or Teamster. Can you tell me the back length on your 44 and your height? Also, does this have a drop front where it's longer than the back or is it even...

First hats, I think I may have bought too many

Thanks for the feedback gents. That was a completely dry bash, I've since given it a misting and deepened the existing shape/crease/pinch. I was going to experiment with a completely different bash to make it look more casual, but you guys have convinced me to leave it alone for now.

First hats, I think I may have bought too many

Maybe it was beginners luck, but Im still not sold on the bash I did. I think the brim definitely needs some curving / shaping. But in my rookie opinion, the Squatter gives you plenty of crown height and brim to work with. Almost like it needs the shaping to take up material, otherwise it's...
