Looks good. :eusa_clap
The length looks good - I've been told that the correct fit is to have the sleeves come down to the middle of the back of your hand when your arms are by your side.
James, as you look pretty slim (in the photos of your very nice Lewis jacket), you might be interested...
A bound brim is an option on an Adventurebilt Deluxe. Marc charges 449 euros (from memory) for these.
If the Euro / Dollar exchange rate is too painful for you then an alternative would be to order a hat from Steve (the standard AB), and post it up to Optimo to get the brim bound ($20).
I had a chat to both Steve and Marc about hats, and both were quoting an eleven month delivery time fairly recently.
I don't know if the film release (out today over here in the Netherlands :D) will have an effect, but I suspect that getting an order in sooner would be beneficial...
I missed out on a Dobbs Golden Coach on Ebay yesterday:

Someone sniped me at the last minute to win the auction. I was probably asleep at the time. :(
I agree with Mr. 'H'. Nice looking jacket there, by the way.
I've had storm cuffs on my previous three Aeros, and never found that they've got in the way. Number four, which should be with me next week, doesn't have them because it's a Cossack(ish) jacket, but I would have left them in if I'd...
In general, I've found that the tailor knows best, and will strenuously object to you doing something that he doesn't like.
This happened to me when I wanted a four button jacket on my one made to measure suit. I had three of them gang up on me, and force me to lose a button, and shorten it...
I'm a similar height to you ins0ma, and have owned a couple of Aero jackets. I've asked for 2" to be added to the body and sleeves, and it's worked out pretty well in the past.
I believe that the vintage horsehides are slightly thinner and softer than the front quarter horsehide. So if you...
The Morgan Motor company builds vintage cars with more modern mechanicals. They even built a concept with a fuel cell...

There's quite a long waiting list for new cars, but they should be available secondhand.
Being a vaguely modern car, I'd expect them to...
Sir Jacket, the Highwayman and standard Halfbelt look pretty similar from a styling point of view on Mark Moye's website, so there's not much to choose from there.
I believe that the Highwayman is a looser and squarer cut, whereas the Halfbelt is more closely fitted and a bit longer...
Looks good Bob, and will look even better with a bit of wear on it.
Rufus, I've just ordered a jacket in cordovan, and now you're making me get cold feet. :)
I came across a picture of Daniel Craig wearing his Highwayman on the Film Jackets forum a while back.

It's my job to make your life difficult! lol
Aero's shearling lined Barnstormer is 530 pounds on their website:
http://www.aeroleatherclothing.com/webapp/aeroleather/servlet/AeroViewPage?page=displayproduct&subcatid=38&prodid=704
Their website isn't the best, and it's probably worth...
There are a few posts discussing Cirrus in this forum, and the search function will bring them up. Starting a new thread would also attract attention.
You've probably already seen it, but Aero do a shearling lined version of the Barnstormer...
I'm a similar size and weight, and don't find any problems wearing an FQHH jacket. Nor did I have any problems when I was quite a bit lighter.
I don't think that you'll hae any problems with it Bob. The weight is distributed around your body, and you won't notice it. And if you do, there's...
I've got a Hercules (see the Classifieds), which weighs in at around 4 kg. I don't have any problems with the weight of it.
But then again, I do have a gym habit, which means that the jacket is now too tight for me across the chest. So now I've got to order a new one, and I've finally decided...
The following measurements are based on a set from the Acme Depot's A-2 page, minus things like cuff width that aren't relevant. For a full description see:
