Gustin Jeans Selvage Denim made in SF
I am in a similar quandry to Fanch .... a pair of modern levis 501's (34 x 30) which actually measure 36 x 30 fit quite trim in the leg and a little loose in the waist ( just like I like them ) .... 1954 501XX shrink to fit 36 X 34are almost perfect after a wash or two. WWII Jacket Questions
I'm not a big fan of the A-2 ( unusually for here) ... and elastic bootm and cuff jackets in general ... with the possible exception of the USN single weave jackets ( and even then it's a love hate thing). New Alexanders Lavant - Burgundy Chrome Excel Steer
It's approx one to one 1/2 size down on the VDR This is not a bad thing IMHO as the VDR was always an oversize jacket where in order to get a good fit I had to order a 40. Length is the same as a 42 Aero VDR ( which I have 2 of for comparison) and most of the measurements are +\- 1/2 "- Plumbline
