I don't think 3 months wear qualifies as spontaneous, but here is a full view of the jacket being measured, it's laid flat and stretched out and it measures a tad under 24.5". When new it was exactly 25", stated on the production sheet and made by Julie so you know it wasn't 24.75" or 25.25" but...
I'm sorry, did anyone take note of Ken's statement "I’d expect to loose ¼” to ½” in length by mid winter". The photo of my jacket and tape measure at 24.5 " is with the jacket laid flat and stretched out, the original measurement was spot on 25" just 3 months ago, fact!
Ask for a tour of the factory while you're there, the show room is impressive enough but seeing the jackets being cut out and made is where it's at :-)
I asked for pics so here's one, my Premium 1930's Halfbelt. Just under 3 months old and yes, it did get wet once when walking home from the pub. The back length when new was exactly 25", it's now 24.5" so 1/2" loss in 3 months. Can't see any major creasing in the back at all, which might...
Sorry hear your not wearing the Herc mate, it was a beauty. Have you been out in heavy rain and got it soaked at all? Only reason I ask is because when I was having for a remake of my Premium 1930's Halfbelt, Ken at Aero mentioned how it might shrink with time. I sure he won't mind if I post his...
I have a Medium and I'm 5'11" with a 40" chest. It is a snug fit (no layering) and the arms are tad long. I tried the Large but it absolutely swamped me, it was huge! As a guide, I take a standard 40" in Aero jackets.
I think I've seen one BK half-belt review here. I really need to see a few good solid reviews, with fit pics, before I could ever consider shelling out the dosh for one. Come on BK half-belt owners, let's see them if you're out there, please!
I've seen many good looking half belt designs being showcased on BK's Facebook site, but why is there no one here posting about their new purchase or showing fit pics? If saw a few good solid reviews from fellow loungers I would be tempted but until then I'll just keep looking at the studio...
