That's a good looking half belt. I always find it difficult to judge jacket length when the shirt is hanging out, so I can't really comment on that. I am liking the dark even colour hides coming from Horween at the moment ( I'm very happy with my recent jacket) and it should break in a treat...
That's a good looking jacket. I can understand you wanting the wind flap removed, I've never really looked the them myself. As it is, the jacket would work well with a sweater but if it's going to be worn with just a tee shirt then it could probably loose some in the body - isn't that major...
Sneash - Definitely read Peacoat's (Mr Peacoat to me) sticky, it is gold dust! All you need to know Peacoat dating and sizing is there. On a personal note and from experience, I would add that not all pea coats have identical measurements for their stated size. I would definitely ask a seller...
Wasn't aware RMW did leather jackets, their boots are very well known. For a long style I think this looks fine and the fit looks made to measure.
Welcome to the lounge!
Love the colour of the seal and the knits go well with it. Would like to see another pic with your arms down by your side before I could comment on sleeve length.
If you can't bring yourself to wear it, it has to go back. It's a painful experience and trust me I know all about it, but there's no point hanging onto a jacket that isn't right. Return it whilst it's still in mint condition, I'm sure it will be resold without any trouble. The big question...
Another very nice half belt! I've always liked the look of the Maxwell and the cuff straps are a nice addition. The style suits you well, a definite keeper!
It's a beauty, I really like it! Nice length and great overall fit too. One things for sure, with Julie making it, you can rest assured you've got the best of the best!
Whimp! :-)
That work coat is nice but I wonder how those horizontal pockets will hold up. At that angle and with no flaps, any time spent with the hands those pockets will cause them to sag open big time. Just a thought.
I see Aero have just announced this new Premium 1930's half belt on their website, looks like they are also offering the vintage cut in their other patterns.
