I have a felt hat body question if I may ask.
Do you make all sizes out of the same body?
If not then how many body sizes are there?
Does the smallest hat made in a body size come out thicker or do you pounce to a desired thickness on all?
Where is this listed for sale?
The #3 can I use as a rain cover on the end of the vertical exhaust pipe on my farm tractor has rusted through and this might prove to last longer for that purpose. The bullets should add the ballast needed to keep the wind from blowing it off.
The body is wetted/steamed and stretched over the crown block and then the flanging of brim begins. The brim is then trimmed to the right width.
I would assume the larger hats end up a bit thinner after this, at least up to the point where a larger cone hat body is used for fear of issues of...

I have no idea how you decide on which to wear. I would have to have a small van with a hat storage system in and change hats several times each to avoid having to take so long deciding on which one.

I think people driving lowered Subes with 6 inch diameter chromed exhaust tips look silly in a fedora so they shouldn't wear them. For the rest of the populace we'll just wear our feds and chill.

If you walked through the swinging doors of the bar I was in I'd likely quietly leave before trouble starts. Gunsmoke stinks up one's hat and the plaster dust takes lots of brushing to get it all cleaned off.
OK, this is The Fedora Lounge and as a result when this picture came up on my screen I thought, "The inside of the crown of that hat was not finished very well at all". And by the way, that planet is definitely a regular oval.
