Friends, have any of you order Stu's newest jacket? It looks like a winner to me. He is the link to his site:https://lostworldsinc.com/Star%20Glove%20Vintage%20Horsehide%20Motorcycle%20Jacket.html
What do you guys think?
I have the very same jacket. It's an early 70s model. The style was made by other similar companies like Reed. Mine looks exactly like yours. I did wear it back in the 80s. Ton had a very similar jacket made to order. Back in the day, I made two vests made for it. One out of lamb wool and...
It can be done, but few people can actually do a good job. I know of a motorcycle suit and jacket person who is good. Not cheap due to shipping. I posted about him here before. If you are interested, let me know. I still have his info.
Good luck with your project.
I believe this the older version of the 618HH. Beautiful hide. Have one in this hide, but mine is a D pocket. My fine 618HH has two different tags at the bottom of the white label and to the left in the body. Stunner for sure. The newer 618HH run trimmer than the older production.
Currently, I only have 3 original HD d pocket cycle champ types. What makes sense back in the day, production efficiency was vital for the bottom line of the company. For this reason, present day producers like Scott and others use pieces that are uniform regardless of what size the jacket's...
Spot on man. Love those Al's so underrated. I have the very same one also. Got mine from a member here. Al's leather flow so very nice on your body. If you ever want to reproduce the batch, let me know. I will make one and send it to you with pre sewn perforation so you just follow the...
You quickly pick up that Sportster. I have been trying to get one in my size since the 2000. Jmax sold one in pristine condition at a screaming deal, but lost focus on the sale and someone beat me to it. I still have my first one, I got in 1979 when I was a young hard worker, I wore it for...
Old school New Mexico was and still the place to get your best spoke suede leather jacket. The old school methods of construction are hard to beat. In one of my trips to visit my people (Yaqui) in the four corners area, I had a master crafted me a beautiful jacket. Love it. And will always...
I will never wait for a jacket for Aero. If I am waiting for a big maker, I will take my man from Greece. For those who live in America, is hard to beat our friends from SF and NY. Besides, I rather keep my funds in the US. Lastly, I will first buy from a member at this forum than any other...
