Help! Quick opinion on Kreosote boots.

I can't say for certain if yours will be delayed, but he's not even done with boots from 2020. Ordered several pair in 2020 and 2021 and a bunch of us are now being told not until 2025 or even 2026. At that time, he told us 13 months to 24 months. Some comments are out on youtube somewhere, too. You can check in for a status and will get what looks like a pre-written email about how custom built they are, etc, etc.. We all know that if your timeframe goes from 13 months to now 4+ years, someone just isn't working.

Did you say he accepts refunds?

I recently asked on couple because so much time has past and wasn't what I agreed to, but am getting push back. Not too happy right now. I didn't sign up for that timeline. It's not even close. Hopefully you get yours in 42 months, but don't be surprised if it's more 5-7 years.

"In regard to your request for a refund I will refer you to the bottom of the page under the (CLIENT INFO) website heading. Refund policy 2015 Reference page on the website KREOSOTE does not offer a Refund for any Kustom Made to Measure Boots based on all of the pre-build Expenses that are required to begin the process of the Clients Kustom / Bespoke boot builds."

I responded back saying he unfortunately failed to deliver in a timely manner on multiple occasions. So far, no response...

I know I still won't get my boots with his next estimated dates he gave me. It'll be 4.5 - 5+ years from when I purchased them and the waitlist wasn't like it is now. I have an email from my 2020 purchases on 3/2021 that had a Reschedule Build date of Sept 2022. Which was pushed out a year from the previous build date. Still no boots 4 years later.....

I believe I read somewhere he builds two a month, and takes 30 orders per year. So if he's still working on 2020 orders and took 30 orders per year. So he would have over 120 boots to build as of today. If he only builds 2/month, he's not even meeting the quota to meet a year's worth of orders. The 4 year waitlist he has now won't be 4 years in my opinion.

In all seriousness, how do these people sleep at night? Knowing I absolutely have to be making shoes (or whatever) for the next 10 years, would've sent me to an early grave.
