As for your lady friend's situation, the only thing I can think of is that someone's trying to either frame me, or bait me into a trap--that looks like a branding iron, and I won't use such things. Burned my hand pretty bad on a stove once, y'see, and every time I look at that level of heated metal I feel that burn all over again...

Besides, "my hitmen"? The only allies I really have here are blackout and PFY, and they're both back at the base! Whoever did this has as much of an enemy in me as you...

The pain will pass by morning, but she'll need protein--part of that formula is regenreative nanites, mini-machines that tear one part of the body apart to repair another. They're programmed to seek out fat tissues first, then nonessential muscle, and to only remove a little from each area.

I'd suspect that this is that Zebra Team, but I can't figure out why they wouldn't have tried to hit me directly!

*noise in my earpiece*

Kilroy, bandage that wrist and she'll be good as new in the morning--PFY tells me I need to get back to the command-post ASAP, and it's an emergency... Blackout'll hold for air-cover overnight, meet me at the Lair tomorrow and we'll start planning what to do.

*hops into Rolls, speeds back to base*

This week's episode begins with Kilroy pacing up and down...

One week has passed and Red recovered from her headache, only to be given a new one. SOE has air dropped her behind German lines, where she will be trying to obtain information about troop movements disguised as a displaced, or in her words, "misplaced" person. She is in grave danger, I'm sure, and my worrysome mindset has me pacing around the ready room. Lo Phat, my batman, has aready told me to go lie down about a dozen times, but it's no use. I'm filled with too much anxiety. It's bad enough that she has to watch out for the Jerries, but I have a feeling those who abducted her just might tip them off as to her whereabouts. The Germans might be on to her soon if she's not extra careful.
Lo Phat: Mistuh Kil-loy Suh! Why you no lie down? You making me nervous!
Sorry Lo, I'm just bloody well worried about Red.
Lo Phat: I know Suh, but you driving us clazy!
