Thanks. I quit the pizza (mostly) too and am thoroughly boring now. lolPrettySquareGal said:I didn't quit the pizza, though.

Benny Holiday said:That's great PrettySquareGal! If only the smokers out there could see what that habit's done to my mother . . . the pain, the sickness and the misery . . . I don't understand how the tobacco companies haven't been indicted out of business for making their addictive chemical-laden toxic products.
But you're free of that, congratulations!

I quit just over ten years ago. Going on eleven.
It was rough for the first couple of months, but after that I only had an urge to smoke once in a while. After about 2 years or so, even those fleeting cravings disappeared. Can't stand to be around it now,...

I've been a quitter for almost 7 years now.

I had been a smoker for 13 years, I started about 15 or 16. Strange thing was, I was also an all-star basketball player. I would walk off the court and light a Marlboro Red :eusa_doh:
My husband and I quit a little over a year ago. The motivating factor was the goal to save the cigarette money for a trip to Germany at Christmas last year. Things didn't work out to get us to Germany, but at least we quit. Someday I will take my husband and baby to see the city I called home as a kid, we have the rest of our lives
