Almost 5 years since I last purchased a hat. Got this in mail yesterday. Paid exactly what gas costs me to fill up my 2000 Mercedes SUV. Just goes to show you that there are some nice fish to be gotten on eBay. Love the patina from this 70-year-old working cowboy's hat that sat in it's box in storage.

A few days ago I posted pix of a Panda Fur - like hat by Charles Knox Hatter, made in Canada under license. Today I'm going to post pix of one that looks very similar. This one a Canadian Panda Fur by Biltmore. Both hats are very luxurious to touch. Hard to pick a favorite among them both but I like the color of the Charles Knox fedora as it catches the light better in my opinion.

They're both gorgeous, Timmy, but, for me, I prefer the awesome golden tones of the Biltmore.

[The Lost Cowboy]

The rain has put a pause to my moving activities so I dug deep in my closet and discovered yet another hidden gem.

I had three boxes left in the closet’s far corner and I thought they were empty - turns out this late model Stetson Twenty was in one of them.

The thin brown sweatband indicates this one is close to the end of the Twenties run - late 60s or early 70s I reckon. The felt is still good quality, but noticeably inferior to my Twenties from earlier periods.

Should have everything but the essentials moved out today so I can spend the weekend cleaning.

Thank you Mark. I have another JBS Twenty with a similar make and bash but nicer felt. I wear that one often in the colder months which is why this one got lost. Solid hat, though.

That GP looks great on you! I have one exactly like this, I just haven't been able to fall in love with it though. I need to get a flange and see if I can get mine shaped a little better.
